Long gone are the days when you will just throw some cocoa powder into the mixing bowl and hope for the best!  We will show you:
  • How to correctly work with different types of chocolate;
  • How to work with modelling chocolate so that you can make chocolate roses, chocolate tea pots, buttons, ribbons and lots more;
  • How to use chocolate transfer sheets both for 2D and 3D designs including twists and spirals;
  • How to make chocolate ganache and the differences between dark, milk and white chocolate ganache;
  • How to color chocolate so you are not limited to just brown and white but can branch into all sorts of colors such as pink, yellow, green and blue without affecting the flavor of your chocolate;
  • How to make smooth and velvety chocolate buttercream;
  • How to  pipe two toned swirls and roses using chocolate buttercream;
  • How to work with liquid chocolate to create fabulous designs for the tops of your cupcakes;
  • How to create the Pretty Witty Cakes’ original “patchwork” effect using modelling chocolate.
By the end of the day, you will have covered a vast amount and tried all sorts of chocolate techniques. It goes without saying that taste testing along the way is encouraged!
